Colophon

This site runs on Ghost.

Designed and built with Claude, Anthropic’s AI model, in October 2026. I set the direction and made the decisions. Claude produced the design, the mockups and the code. I did it this way to learn how a small project with a packaged CMS gets made with an LLM, on a kind of work I knew well before.

Headings are set in Newsreader, text in Inter, and labels in JetBrains Mono. All three are open-source (SIL Open Font License) and served from this site.

Images appear in black and white and return to colour when you point at them. The one accent colour is vermilion.

The squiggle at the top left is drawn by a short script and is different on each visit. It runs from tangle to straight line. It was inspired by Damien Newman’s The Squiggle: The Process of Uncertainty, a simple graphic and theme I’ve used for years and always felt close to.
